celebrating the IMPACT

Three of my former students – this year they were valedictorian, salutatorian and faculty representative. At this year’s graduation, all three of them made speeches, and all three of them used Bible verses in their speeches. Several teachers noted that these were probably three of the most eloquent, encouraging, challenging speeches we had ever heard from students at gradation. One of these students, I remember she had some familiarity with the Bible before she took my class, but didn’t really understand the whole picture of the Bible or know what it meant. When she took the class, she connected the dots, and it began to make sense to her, and it became a lot more real.
